Name : Enough Said! Age : 40 Team : Millwall Favourite current labels? CP Company, Emporio Armani, 6876 Favourite all time label? Where do you start? 80's Giorgio Armani, Cerutti 1881, Stone Island, 90's CP Company, Left Hand, Boneville, But, I suppose the short answer has got to be CP Company for it's longevity. One thing in your wardrobe you could never part with? a couple of things, a full length CP leather jacket, a 1983 GA jumper with a small eagle sewn in, and a black Urban Protection Metropolis. Most expensive item ever purchased? has to be the limited edition CP Company leather jacket as mentioned above cost me £1200! Biggest mistake ever bought? bought a pair of Nike 'Flames' in the late 80's very lairy, all my mates took the piss that much I didn't wear them more than a couple of times! Funny though, now they are very rare and desirable for collectors, I think mine went in the bin!
Name : Stuart Age : 18 Team : Hearts Favourite current labels? has to be 6876, being younger I've only started to pick up on it in the last year, and love it!! Nice and discreet stuff. Favourite all time label? Lacoste, remember as a kid the only thing my Grandad wore were Lacoste polo's, that rubbed off on me, and when he died I was still pretty young, and I 'inherited' all his Lacoste gear, polos. knits and a jacket! Nowadays I still love the polos and have a few different bits of knitwear. One thing in your wardrobe you could never part with? My Grandad's stuff for obvious reasons, But probably my Metropolis jacket although it's rarely worn. Most expensive item ever purchased? Prada goretex, think it was £575 wouldn't spend that much nowadays though! when I left school I was on about a grand a month and had fuck all to pay for so most of it went on clobber! Nowadays I have to wait for the sales or get stuff from the internet! Biggest mistake ever bought? Probably silver Micropacer's they go with absolute fuck all!
Name : Dave Clarke Age : 35 Team : Millwall Favourite current labels? Zegna, Ralph Lauren, Lyle and Scott, M&S, Adidas Originals, Red Ear, Maharishi, Faconnable, Barbour and Armani - only jeans at the moment though! I'm trying to add to my vintage Osti collection - CP, Left Hand, Boneville, and Procuction mainly although I picked up WWW sweatshirt recently. Favourite all time label? this is a toughie to narrow down just to one, so I'm going to have to go with Stone Island for jackets and tops, Armani for jeans, and Adidas for trainers. One thing in your wardrobe you could never part with? would rather get divorced than part with my Left Hand Thermojoint jacket. Most expensive item ever purchased? My Thermojoint £500 from memory. Biggest mistake ever bought? how long have you got? a few off the top of my head would be Ski Goggles to go with my Deerstalker! Purple Wallabees, C17 flares, Dungarees, Paisley Shirts - didn't get the brooch to go with them though, thank Christ! finally, some of my mates would say my adidas 'all Aquas' but they can do one, 'cos I like 'em!
Name : Brussels 1975 Age : 30 Team : FC Molenbeek Brussels, AKA RWDM (Belgium) Favourite current labels? One True Saxon and Fjall Raven, but the favourite is 6876 by far, it is not distributed in Belgium and hard to find on eBay which makes it very exclusive over here. Favourite all time label? Has to be Stone Island even if every man and his dog seem to have a fake S.I. jacket somewhere now, credit to Osti for all his work on that label. One thing in your wardrobe you could never part with? None! everything has a price. Most expensive item ever purchased? Recently? an Acronym GT jacket the price was quite similar to what I paid for my CP Miglia. Biggest mistake ever bought? A yellow Armani jumper, a nice knit but it get's you spotted everywhere! I mean, my Girlfriend can even see me on TV during a match if i wear it! also a Bellerose rain jacket, there was a little store in Brussels producing it's own gear, it was expensive, exclusive and gave a lot of attention to details, so I decided to give it a try and bought a jacket that was supposed to be limited edition. A few months later that label became the latest Belgium hype, and you could see Bellerose everywhere! My so called limited edition jacket was re-released on a larger scale and half of the city seemed to have bought on, talk about exclusivity.
Name : Honest Matt Age : 34 Team : QPR Favourite current labels? in no particular order CP Company, Armani and Ralph Lauren. Favourite all time label? CP Company, always seemed to push the boundaries and go where other labels feared to tread ... Urban Protection, Mille Miglia's etc. Older Stone Island has to get a mention too and anything the late great Mr Osti turned his hand to. One thing in your wardrobe you could never part with? My Munch jacket from the Urban Protection range, and an early Miglia with watchviewer even if it doesn't see the light of day much anymore. Most expensive item ever purchased? a Winter Mille Miglia with a button out sheepskin lining, £800 a couple of years back, for that essential football hooligan meets John Motson look. Biggest mistake ever bought? a red and black lycra John Richmond Destroy cycling type top back in '89... God knows what I was thinking!
Name : BlueJay Age : 38 Team : Cardiff City Favourite current labels? favourite current and all time labels are still one and the same for me, best way I can gauge it is what do I own most of what can I never resist. Adidas trainers, Lacoste polos and M&S cords/jeans have been with me consistently for over 20 years, same with Osti's stuff, but I've not made a purchase of anything new from his stables for at least four years. come to think of it, the only new coat I've bought in the last few years was a spiewak, just look for his old stuff now. One thing in your wardrobe you could never part with? if the house was on fire I'd go back for the Left Hand Thermojoint without giving it a second thought! Most expensive item ever purchased? My house, my car and my Missus LOL! I honestly cannot remember, bound to be a coat but if you think in comparitive terms paying £100 for a t-shirt is no different to paying £500 for a coat, nearly bought a Zegna parka last year for £1200 but (thankfully) it was a bit tight. Biggest mistake ever bought? that would be a Schott goose down puffa jacket circa 1989, never wore it! the missus reckons I told her it cost £250 she says that means the real price would have been double that!
Name : Sketch Age : 35 Team : Partick Thistle Favourite current labels? in no particular order CP Company, Barbour, 6876, Mackintosh and Silas. Favourite all time label? Barbour. One thing in your wardrobe you could never part with? an original Massimo Osti designed Stone Island jacket (my first) circa 1990-91, still have it, although it has seen better days! Most expensive thing ever purchased? CP goggle jacket from the 2006 S/S range Biggest mistake ever bought? patchwork leather and suede top with criss cross lacing at the neck! You could only get them from dodgy leather shops down the Trongate district in Glasgow, absolutely disgusting, but in a good way!
Name : Bill Age : 17 Team : Newport County Favourite current labels? 6876, Zegna Sport, Faconnable, Patagonia, Barbour, Fjall Raven. Favourite all time label? anything by Massimo Osti, everything he has created is legendary. One thing in your wardrobe you could never part with? I could never part with my CP Metropolis and any of my trainers. Most expensive thing ever purchased? Metropolis - paid £430 of the Queens English for it! Biggest mistake ever bought? Boneville 'Toffee Wrapper' style jacket, paid £150 for it, and it's never got an airing.
Name : SJH Age : 39 Team : Sheffield United Favourite current labels? Stone Island, Paul and Shark, CP Company, One True Saxon and Hackett. Favourite all time label? Lacoste. One thing in your wardrobe you could never part with? loads of stuff, but top 3 Paul and Shark 'climate control' jacket, Summer '05 Mille Miglia, Winter '03 Stone Island woolen duffle coat. Most expensive thing ever purchased? £625 Stone Island 2-in-1 winter jacket. Biggest mistake ever bought? spent £325 on a navy blue Burberry jacket about a month before the 'Chav' explosion, so I don't wear it very often, but "am I bothered!!"
Name : "Osti' 76" Age : 29 Team : Spurs Favourite current labels? Barbour, 80's Casual tees, Norrona, Fjall Raven, Adidas, Walsh trainers, Berghaus, Zegna Timeless classic, Sharpeye - mental gear, get a lot of looks and questions, M&S Blue harbour - doesn't break the bank! Clarks shoes like old history teachers! Saxon - nice and simple designs, very rugged but will go down the same road as S.I. which is a shame, so you move on? Paul and Shark a bit common now, only have a few pieces my fave being the Scoop jacket - oozes class! another one being the Strellson Protection jacket looks mad. Refrigiwear jackets for those cold away days up your neck of the woods! Also like my hiking gear Brasher boots, West Winds. Favourite all time label? Anything by Mr Osti himself pre '94 Vintage Stone Island, Navy Artic, ST95, Left Hand, Boneville, WWW, CP Company, vintage Berghaus, Patrick cagoule. One thing in your wardrobe you could never part with? would have to add a few as I've got that many rare pieces, 1983 green rubber vintage S.I. jacket with patch on the cuff...1989 electric blue Reflector jacket, and 1987 white Boneville Navy Arctic jacket with big black buttons... it's rubber! Most expensive thing ever purchased? CP Company 'Move' jacket from urban protection range.... £900 Biggest mistake ever bought? 1987 pink Stone Island ICE jacket with badge on front, got rid sharpish! swapped for a beige sheepskin winter Mille Miglia - result!
Name : Andy Age : 30 Team : Derby Favourite current labels? Loving Norrona jackets at the minute! Blue Harbour jeans and jumpers, Timberland moccasins, and New Balance 576's as always, The new 6876 tees are smart, and I still like a lot of 80's labels obtained off eBay. Favourite all time label? anything touched by the mighty hand of Massimo, especially early Stone Island and his early 'Production' range. And vintage Berghaus too. One thing in your wardrobe you could never part with? I'd have to choose between Stone Island sample ICE jacket, 80's Marc O'Polo sweatshirt, Berghaus Kongur, and me Adidas Tischtennis. Most expensive item ever purchased? Probably the sample light jacket, but a rubber P&S effort was well over the £500 mark too. Biggest mistake ever bought? Similar to Osti76 I had a pink Stone Island ICE jacket - fantastic piece but the colour was rotten!
Name : JJ69 Age : 36 Team : Aberdeen Favourite current labels? not going to hit you with anything new and unfound, as my favourite items will always be that of the 80's and any old finds will be my new current label from an old Kappa crew neck jersey to velour Fila tracksuits, always current is the Lacoste polo that never fails, the new Lyle and Scott polo's currently do it for me, and the ever faithful Alpha M65 combat jacket and Adidas. Favourite All Time Label? Stone Island and Adidas. One thing in your wardrobe you could never part with? my Red Fila Terinda BJ Most expensive item ever purchased? Stone Island jacket at £350 so nothing too outrageous... Aberdonians are tight bastards remember! Biggest mistake ever bought? for one day only the Deerstalker hat!
Honest Matt opens his wardrobe doors.......

Favourite all time labels : got a few really, loved Fiorucci / Classic Nouveau, Best Company and Taverniti stuff, but would have to say my stone island marina stuff is my favourite osti pieces I have. One thing in your wardrobe you could never part with: my navy CP Mille Miglia from 1993 Most expensive item ever purchased: Beige Mille paid £575 for it. Biggest mistake ever bought: the wife a wedding ring lol,no only joking.it has to be a pair of luminous lime green Kicker boots in size 9. I had to have them as soon as i seen them, the only trouble was they killed my bas*ard feet as im a size 11!! |
